Grid Rotated in Space — A concept model for a wall sconce, 3D printed in solid white bronze.
I’m thinking back to when I studied traditional bronze casting. If this was cast in lost wax process instead of printed, how many how many counter-molds would I have to set up for this form, how many vents would I have to lead from the figure for the pour, how much time would it take to remove the plaster and polish it to finish?
Now all I have to do was hit “print.” And wait for the UPS guy.
