Going through my archive of architectural detail photography – this one is of an iconic house in Los Feliz, Los Angeles. Concrete block with interlocking patterns cast on site, using local sand, gravel, and aluminum molds. They form a “textile block” wall, dimensioned at 16″ by 16″ by 3.5″. Frank Lloyd Wright, Ennis House, Los Angeles.
